Abstract：

Whole-genome sequencing (WGS) is the analysis of the entire genomic DNA sequence of a cell providing the most comprehensive characterization of the genome at a single time. This sequencing technique has revolutionized biosciences and has been instrumental in the identification of gene functions and their involvement in disease, the identification of inherited disorders, the characterization of the mutations that drive cancer progression, and the tracking disease outbreaks. In this webinar MGI, together with NextGen Molecular Supplies in South Africa, will introduce and discuss the DNBSEQ technology and its applications, with a specific focus on WGS.
