stLFR: A Novel & Cost-effective Approach to Genome Assembly
Release date:2019-10-14Writer:MGIViews:10173Share

In this webinar, MGI introduced single-tube long fragment read (stLFR), a technology that enables sequencing of data from long DNA molecules using economical second-generation sequencing technology. It was demonstrated that how stLFR brings a drastic improvement of de novo assembly results for several economically important plant and pest genomes with short-read sequencing technology on the MGISEQ-2000.

stLFR represents an easily automatable package that enables high-quality sequencing, phasing, SV detection, scaffolding, cost-effective diploid de novo genome assembly, and other long DNA sequencing applications.
