The China Association of Medical Equipment has recently released the List of 8th Batch of Excellent Medical Equipment in China. We are pleased to see that MGI's robotic ultrasound system, MGIUS-R3, made the list as an excellent remote diagnostic system in China.

According to the selection criteria, candidate equipment must meet clinical needs, ensure medical safety with outstanding performance, and has gained industry recognition by medical institutions. Other criteria include corporate reputation, after-sales services, quality, technology, and clinical evaluation.

MGIUS-R3 was approved by the National Medical Products Administration in 2020 as a Class III Medical Device. In the same year, the system obtained the CE certification in the European Union. More than 30 applications of patents have been applied for the system, with 25 granted including 4 invention patents, covering its appearance, system and algorithm.  

In addition, MGIUS-R3 has also won many honors and awards, including the first prize in the Blooming Cup 5G Application Competition, Outstanding Product Award in Global 5G Application Competition, and the first prize in the China Medical Device Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. The system is now in use in 21 provinces and autonomous regions in China, proudly contributing to the improvement of local medical ultrasound services.
