On September 1st, JMDNA (Shanghai) Bio-Medical Tech Co., Ltd. (JMDNA) and Shenzhen MGI Tech Co., Ltd. (MGI) held a cooperation signing ceremony and officially unveiled the first High-throughput Sequencing Technology Innovation and Application Demonstration Center in China. The Center will provide integrated high-throughput sequencing service in the Yangtze River Delta, a region including Shanghai, southern Jiangsu province and northern Zhejiang province, using the world’s highest-daily-throughput gene sequencer DNBSEQ-T7 and other domestic sequencing platforms.

As the first High-throughput Sequencing Technology Innovation and Application Demonstration Center in China, JMDNA will provide integrated sequencing services with high quality and fast delivery, using domestic high-throughput sequencing platforms such as the DNBSEQ-T7 and the MGISEQ-2000. The Center will give full play to the advantages of JMDNA as a fourth-party testing service platform in the industry, help to achieve utilization of high-quality resources in the Yangtze River Delta and further promote development of the genetic testing industry.
