At the World Industrial Design Conference 2022 held in mid-November at the International Expo Center of Yantai, North China's Shandong Province, MGI remote robotic ultrasound system made its way through nearly 3,200 nominations onto the shortlist of China Excellent Industrial Design Award as one of the bronze winners, an achievement prize that fully recognizes MGI's technological innovation in medical imaging.

The China Excellent Industrial Design Award, sponsored by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, is the only national industrial design award in China. The Award, which has been given five times since 2012, helps unleash the creativity of the whole society by recognizing innovative and leading projects and enterprises in all fields, which will play a guiding and exemplary role in promoting industrial upgrading and the high-quality development of manufacturing.

At the ceremony, the MGI remote robotic ultrasound system was given a prize for its remarkable achievements in medical imaging, which were highly recognized by the organizers. Four years earlier in 2018, with its groundbreaking functions and cutting-edge design, the robot also won the "German iF Industrial Design Award", one of the most influential design awards worldwide. The robotic system has been an award-winning product since its invention and has been continuously applied to new clinical scenarios. The robot has been delivered to more than 20 provinces and autonomous regions across China, providing local citizens with universal access to quality medical resources.

Scientific and technological innovation remains the driving force and cornerstone of MGI's growth. Guided by the vision "Leading Life Science Innovation", MGI will further extend the boundaries of current healthcare with its high-performance products to facilitate development of life sciences.
