MGISTP-7000: Suitable for a Variety of Tube Types and Well Plates, a New Upgrade for Automated Transfer!

In addition, MGISTP-7000 is capable of the recapping, decapping and automated liquid transfer of conventional virus sample tubes as well as blood collection, lyophilisation and fecal collection tubes, making MGISTP-7000 a multi-purposes machine.


With the features of high throughput, safe and independent, MGISTP-7000 is suitable for blood collection tubes

Blood testing is one of common testing programs. Standard blood collection tubes are commonly used to collect blood samples, making automated decapping and liquid transferring of blood collection tube a necessary step. Some of the automated blood collection equipment currently on the market either has a small throughput and limited sample safety or has to be integrated into large-scale assembly line workstations lacking  independence.


The world's first high-throughput automated sample transfer processing system, MGISTP-7000 integrates tube uncapping, tube recapping, barcode identification, automated liquid transfer and negative pressure protection. With just a single-click, it can load original samples with caps, and transfer up to 192 samples from airtight sample tubes or plain tubes to 96-well microplates in 40 minutes, with zero human contact during the process. In addition, MGI has specially equipped a 1000 μL black conductive sterile wide-mouth tip with a filter element for better transferring of viscous samples such as blood.


MGISTP-7000 is suitable for cryovials and compatible with the standard automatic nucleic acid extraction equipment on the market

In order to realize automated tube decapping and liquid transferring while ensuring sample safety of large-throughput cryovials, MGI has developed a special matching set for decapping microtubes and cryovials to run on MGISTP-7000. With just a single-click, it can load original samples with screw caps, tube recapping, barcode identification and transfer samples from airtight sample tubes or plain tubes to 96-well and 0.75 mL cryovials microplates. Therefore, MGISTP-7000 enables streamlined workflow of pre-processing of small-volume samples and sample dispatching, extraction, and biobank storage.


MGISTP-7000 is also suitable for fecal collection tubes to meet different application needs

Besides, while handling with special samples such as fecal samples, MGISTP-7000 highlights its advantage of automation, contributing to solving common issues such as odour and difficulty in taking samples during manual pre-processing of fecal samples.


In addition, MGISTP-7000 can also be used with the self-developed MGIEasy Stool Microbiome DNA Extraction Kit to perfectly perform the process from user-side sample collection to sample pre-processing. It can be applied to various applications such as 16s rRNA microbial analysis, shotgun metagenomic sequencing, qPCR and arrays.


Meanwhile, MGIEasy Stool Microbiome DNA Extraction Kit is compatible with a variety of automated equipment, including MGI's high-throughput automated sample preparation system MGISP-960 and high-throughput automated nucleic acid extraction system MGISP-NE384, which can greatly reduce manual operation and improve work efficiency.


High Customization to accommodate different needs

The customization function of MGISTP-7000 enables users a more convenient workflow. It can define the source well position, target well and the pipetting volume of samples in the customized transfer plate, making the transfer path more flexible and supporting the needs of users in various scenarios such as two-in-one, three-in-one, four-in-one, and eight-in-one sample mixing. In addition, the volume of each pipetting can also be customized as per user needs.


Notably, MGISTP-7000 can transfer liquids to not only standard 96-well plates but also 48-well, 35-well, and 24-well plates. Many biological samples have their best "placement form", and 96-well plates and 384-well plates are commonly suitable for samples, while 48-well plates, 24-well plates, or even 35-well plates for a few biological samples. In this case, MGISTP-7000 can adapt to a variety of well plate types, perfectly adapted to 2 mL cryovials and other samples such as cell plates and Roche Cobas tubes.
