DUBAI, UAE, 8 February 2024 – MGI Tech, a company committed to building core tools and technology to lead life science, today announced partnership with Dante Labs, a leading global genomics and precision medicine company. Unveiled at MEDLAB Middle East 2024 exhibition, the collaboration is set to increase access to advanced genomic technologies throughout the Middle East region.

Under the partnership, MGI and Dante Labs will establish a joint demo lab and customer experience center in the Middle East. This center will provide local researchers and users with unique access to MGI's cutting-edge technology portfolio, including single cell, spatial omics, DNBSEQ platforms, laboratory automation systems, and bioinformatics products.
The collaboration will mainly focus on the creation of a customer experience center. Moreover, harnessing the power of MGI’s advanced sequencing technologies, the alliance plans to collaborate on the development and validation of whole genome and whole exome sequencing using the DNBSEQ-T7* platform, ensuring the highest standards in genomic analysis. Equipped with MGI’s automation and reagents, a regional network of sample collection centers is to be established to further expand Dante Lab’s service availability and regional coverage.
