MGI's Microbial Detection Total Solution

MGI was invited to Infectious Disease Research Institute (IDRI), a joint institute between the Singapore healthcare group SingHealth and Duke-NUS Medical School On March 16, Dr. Erin Zhang, product manager at MGI, spoke at the IDRI annual retreat. She introduced MGI's high-throughput sequencing platform integrated with a pathogen detection system, called Microbial Detection Total Solution. The package can perform fast, accurate and comprehensive pathogen screening. She presented several cases where MGI's microbial packages based on high-throughput sequencing played a crucial role in detecting pathogens of severe diseases when conventional methods failed.
